Details that matter on a Porsche.
PCCB brakes
Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes require pH-neutral wheel wash and gentle agitation. Acidic wheel cleaners can etch the ceramic coating and damage the rotors.
Cabriolet tops
Fabric convertible tops on 911 Cabriolet and Boxster are cleaned with dedicated top cleaner and re-protected only when the vehicle is in good condition. We do not aggressively pressure-wash tops.
Air-cooled classics
993/964/G-body owners: we adapt our process for older seals and paints — gentler pressure, no aggressive decontamination that could disturb original clear.
RecentRecent Porsche work includes a 911 Turbo S exterior detail in Clive, a 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet (997.2) full detail in Ankeny, and a 911 Carrera Cabriolet (996) full detail in Ankeny.

Porsche detailing — common questions.
Do you detail air-cooled 911s?
Yes. Air-cooled 993/964/G-body 911s get an era-appropriate process — softer pressures, careful decontamination, and no product on original decals or badges.
Can you install ceramic coating on a new Porsche?
Yes. Ceramic Coating starts at $899 and works well as a new-delivery add-on for 911, Taycan, Cayenne, and Panamera. Paint correction is not included.
Do you clean PCCB brakes safely?
Yes. All PCCB-equipped Porsches are cleaned with pH-neutral wheel wash only. We never use acidic wheel cleaners on ceramic-composite rotors.
Do you come to me to detail my Porsche?
Yes. All of our Porsche detailing is mobile. We arrive at your driveway, condo garage, or office anywhere in the Greater Des Moines metro with our own professional equipment. Access to a working water spigot and 120V outlet is required unless arranged in advance.
How do I book a Porsche detail?
Text or call 515-360-6110 for the fastest response. Most weeks we can schedule same-week; peak season typically books 5–10 days out.
Are you insured?
Yes — Street Standard Detailing is fully licensed and insured. Proof of insurance is available on request for HOA, condo, or apartment properties.
